Stephen W. Bishop, MD, specializes in family practice - treating entire
families as well as individuals for general health maintenance and urgent,
acute and chronic medical problems. Special areas of interest include women's
health care and family-centered birthing. Dr. Bishop graduated from Wayne State
University Medical School, completing his residency at Providence Hospital. He
is a member of the Catholic Medical Association, Michigan Academy of Family
Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Society of Teachers
of Family Practice.

Jeffrey Berger, MD, emphasizes Behavioral Medicine within his Internal
Medicine practice. A graduate of Wayne State University Medical School, he is
active in the Catholic Medical Association, serving as Board Member/Secretary.
Dr. Berger, who completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Detroit General
Hospital, is also a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Kelly Arenz, DO. Dr. Kelly Arenz completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Providence Hospital and is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Arenz specializes in family medicine for all ages including Women's Health with prenatal care and Osteopathic Manipulation.
Dr. Arenz will be leaving the Livonia area this year (end of May). She will be taking on a new role at St. Jos in Brighton. We wish her well in her new endeavor. She will be missed.

Mary Miceli, MS, PA-C, specializes in family practice treating entire families as well as
individuals for general health maintenance and urgent, acute and chronic medical problems.
Special areas of interest include (NFP) Natural Family Planning with Naprotechnology and the Creighton Model.
Mary comes to us with 13 years of experience as a PA in family practice. She recently moved to
the Brighton/Howell area, and has a strong Catholic background. She has chosen to work with us to
be able to be a part of a faithful Catholic Medical Practice environment. Mary graduated from U
of D Mercy where she obtained her PA, Master of Science degree.

Our Support Staff
Judy Heinz, Practice Manager; Tracy Womer, Lauren Moore & Angela Escamilla, Medical Assistants, Debbie Janssen, Front Desk, and Marie Bonnici, Receptionist/Referral Coordinator. Our staff has a strong sense of purpose, and feels that they were brought to Sacred Heart Medical Centre not only to fulfill their own personal spiritual needs, but to become a part of God's plan to support and assist the physicians at Sacred Heart Medical Centre to build a culture of life and love with Christ-centered medical care that is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. They are dedicated to providing personal and compassionate care, while serving families with respect and dignity.
